Intercept of antiship hypersonic missile (ASHHM)
Intercept of antiship hypersonic missiles (ASHHM)

The said ASHHM, especially if being able to perform evasive maneuvers at every stage of its flight, it’s declared as an absolute weapon (100% target hit). I consider here to explain that the evil is not as bad as he is being treated.
Really,
the bigger speed the bigger inertia, and lower a ratio of lateral speed to cruise speed, especially because a longitudinal section of any hypersonic missile is more than in order of magnitude bigger than its cross-section.
Moreover, no matter how sophisticated it tumbles far from the ship, it drifts to the nearby area of the ship directly on the hunter, can be no supersonic anti-missile, but ordinary one, as for ongoing interception as for side one, and for a failure case, the defense can be reserved as by quantity as by sides.
Here I don’t consider other effective types of defense, e.g. electronics ones and others.
