It can be three levels global
transportation system.
(1) Urban traffic is provided by specially designed
cars only and being electric pilotless cars fed from electric grid, with a tiny
battery needed for emergency occasions only and offered as a new market products
being a city taxi analogously to the UBER taxi optimized by time of delivery,
number of passengers and cargo load.
It’s ecologically friendly transport can
save a lot of money and time for its users. It will avoid a human factor and
traffic accidents.
(2) Personal cars must be avoided from
cities’ roads and collected on the personal cars stations outside the cities and
serving for suburb’s or rural routes up to about 700 km range.
I can offer a special cars design for such
purpose. It can be a kite-car for flying with economical velocity can reach
about 350 km/h by 250 kW engine, if five persons car with lift-to-drug ratio up
to 5.0 provided by a tilted plats (i.e. a kite) at both sides of the said car
and used instead of wings. It is very compact and economical means of transportation.
Such transport can save a lot of money for
roads building and their technical support.
At war time such transport can be mobilized
for the army needs of twice more long range than the range being able to be
provided by helicopters.
(3) Third level transportation serves for
long routes instead of airplanes. It can be two sorts of flying vehicles: for
cargo delivery and for passengers.
There are absolutely no needs to build
special airports with very long Runways, but special service devices at
terminal, that can be quickly and cheaply created everywhere, and for military
needs too. Those service devices can help to lift and accelerate an airplane or
to land it.
For heavy cargo delivery can be used the blimps (i.e. airships with flexible walls
can be PET film or a cloth fabric). They are extremely cheap and simple
devices, and despite of common point of view they can be much more, than
ten thousand m3. A stable shape of the blimp against the upward air pressure load
we can provide by inner gas under pressure. For simplicity, cheapening
and acceleration the blimps’ manufacturing I suppose they to be a
cylinder made of thin film of polymer and with a conical nose and back,
the both are simply rolled up each from a thin film in a form of a
circular segment.
Our blimps are filled by a gas being lighter than air, e.g. by ammonia or natural gas can used as a fuel for the blimp engines.
For example, one blimp can deliver its inner gas content and additionally 1000 ton cargo with 70 km/h from West Shore of USA to its East Shore consuming no more than 5 % of the said gas as a fuel. After that the blimps can be return back in folded state for new portion of the gas and cargo.
At present world market prices the cost of the cargo delivery is about 0.3 cent USA/ ton-km well comparable by its cost with railway or pipe transportation, but with a help of my inventions in a field of renewable fuel production (see
