Abstract
Offered fuel and technology of its production domestically and distribute, and zero-carbon, are in order of magnitude cheaper than present tariffs.
Such fuel will allow
(1) to reach energy independency;
(2) being sold a little cheaper than present prices, allow avoid economic shocks and fill a state budget and fund of breeding investment down to free Capex;
(3) to use a present fuels' infrastructure ;
(4) defense in war time and against terrorists;
(5) integration of renewable energy in national grid, even if all primary energy is 100% renewable one.
Short disclosure
(1) CO + 2H2 = CH2 + H2O +236 kJ.; CH2 = 18 * 28 + 145 * 4 - 236,000 * 0.25 * 0.065 / 3.6 = 504 + 580 - 1065 = USD 000, i.e. CH2 is free.
(2) CO + H2O = H2 + CO2 - 3 kJ negligible; H2 = 18 * 28 - 5 * 44 = USD 284/ 2 = USD 142/ ton H2.
(3) CO2 / CO reduction via formic acid; CO = 2.7 * 44 + (286 kJ / 0.87) * 4 / 3.6 = 118 + 365 = USD 490 / 28 = USD 17 / ton CO.
