It is 10 times lighter (10 times more mileage), than battery for EV. Ammonia water for fueling and powering would be qualitative breakthrough in sea transport and aviation, saving 50% weight of fuels for their turbines. Note: Incredibly cheap and zero-carbon NH3. (1) distributed renewable energy generation, (2) well scalable NH3 production by the said RE energy on saveful places either not so far away of dense settlement, or for the NH3 storage tanks, (3) conversion of NH3 in electricity, of any schedule for powering. Here N2 is practically free, if each mol of the NH3 burns oxygen out of the air forming 3.5 mol N2 for 7 mol additional NH3 production. Such NH3 is (2 * 1.5 * 133 - 115) / 17 = USD 17 / ton NH3, OPEX, and totaly with Capex is not more than about USD 50 /ton NH3 vs. present world markets prices of USD 650-850. References.
