Vertical sandwiches are sunk in the water environment
being inside a vessel. The said sandwich consists of two layers of either oxide
or carbide or nitride of a metal and the said metal is in melted form inside
the said two layers,
The said vessel doesn’t need to be high temperature
resisting, and even can be ordinary plastic.
The said sandwich can be named as the WSD (water
splitting device) is more specific.
The WSD’s walls are solid at about 3000 C
or even higher and have not to react with the water, while the WSD filling is
melted at the said temperatures by electricity, but not evaporated. At the said
temperatures the water is split effectively. The water environment are cooling
the water splitting products being hydrogen and oxygen, and the hydrogen can be
separated by ordinary and cheap membrane.
The WSD materials can be chosen among
ordinary used stuffs, and even they can be long working, and not very
expensive, not rare, and not very exotic in manufacturing, and titanium, vanadium,
molybdenum and so on can be examined
Such technology producing the hydrogen can
be cheap and can be helpful in the following cases:
(1) a method to store electricity in large
quantity and for its more suitable timetable
(2) to prolong a lifetime of satellites on
low orbit and for orbit’s correction
