Freezing of the water consumes much less energy than evaporation. Solar and wind as a primery energy, the both can be about USD 0.004 / kWh or even less. [1]. Multy-stage freeze-thaw technology allows dewatering of 95% - 99% the water from natural seawater composition, and remaining is a targed product, potassium cloride 2.2 kg KCl/m3 seawater, inside the mix 16 kg with MgCl2 and MgSO4. Such KCl alone is eatimated by me as a cost of seawater freezing + 100 %. 1.0 m3 is by 6.1 kJ/mol = 330,000 /3600 sec./hr. = 92 kWh = 92 * 0.004 = USD 0.36 /m3 = 2.2 kg KCl = USD 170/ton KCl + 100% = USD 340/ton with a big reserve, vs. now fob price of USD 400 . A cost of primary energy of Solar and Wind in the order of magnitude can be cheapened too by reducing their frontal dimension down to about 1.0 m2 unit, so such units are thinner proportionally and is negligible vs. a cost of electric generators being a lion's share per kilowatt, and cheaper than 0.5 US cent/kWh. Would you be so kind and interested to be a part of interdisciplinary and internationaly group in a force of your high titled expertise in mechanical engineering and members of GTEP in patenting or seria ones. The patentible target was the traditional oil and gas synthetized domestically and distribute. It is based on two main subjects: (1) Energy and Wind and solar in particular, can be cheapened in order of magnitude down to USD 0.004/kWh or less, while USD 0.01 /kWh of a primary energy is criterea for Artificial fuels to be competitive (2005+ ).
