Fuels, simply and cheaply

Fuels, simply and cheaply. Author: David Judbarovski, systems engineering, principle inventor, retired. See my professional CV  shortly in Linkedin.com. judbarovski.blogspot.com, judbarovski@gmail.com .  Preamble  My variant is based on extremally cheap solar and/or wind energy as a result of many   years of my research and development. The said breakthrough cheap fuels can be produced domestically, distributed, and cheaply, and it allows to integrate huge amount of  renewable energy in national grids, being now a sore and unsolvable problem.      Roadmap manifesto from present energy fiasco via realistic half-greens to clean energy. And so on, and so on. Really. For classical Fischer-Tropsch process: (1) C + H2O = CO + H2 - 173 KJ, (2) 2H2 + CO = CH2 + H2O + 250 KJ (3) surplus CO -sold, by 50 * 28 = USD 1400, CH2 = 120 * 12 = USD 1440 + 173 * 4/ 3.6 = USD 200, And 250,000 * 0.3 (efficiency heat in electricity) * 0.033 /3.6 = USD 700. Preamble to artificial fuels

Author: David Judbarovski, systems engineering, principle inventor, retired. See my professional CV  shortly in Linkedin.com. judbarovski.blogspot.com, judbarovski@gmail.com .  Preamble  My variant is based on extremelly cheap solar and/or wind energy as a result of many   years of my research and development. The said breakthrough cheap fuels can be produced domestically, distributely, and cheaply, and it allows to integrate huge amount of  renewable energy in national grids, being now a sore and unsolvable problem.      Roadmap manifesto from present energy fiasco via realistic half-greens to clean energy. And so on, and so on.

Half-green fiels production.

 (1) 0.5 C + 0.5 CO2 = CO - 86 KJ   (2,) C  + H20 = CO + H2 -   173 KJ 3) CO +H2O = H2 + CO2 - 3 KJ - negligible. (4) CO + 2H2 = CH2 (hydrocarbons)  + H2O + 250 KJ. Materials' balance: for a mol CH2 are consumed 1.5 mol C, and exhausted 0.5 CO2 mol , and a mol CO is sold. If C being USD 120/ton, CO is sold by USD 50/ ton or much more expensive, and CO2 being 1144 kwh/ton by (USD 0.004 /kwh - see Preamble) = USD 4.5, Opex, so totally CH2 = (1.5 * 1 2 * 120 - 28 * 50 + 44 * 4.5) = 2160 - 1400 + 200 = 960. Energy balance: (86 + 173) * 4 / 3.6 - 250,000 * 0.3 efficiency heat in electricity * 0.033 local tariffs / 3.6 = 300 - 700 = - USD 400. And  CH2 = (960 - 400) = USD 460 / 14 = USD 33/ ton CH2 = USD 4.6/bbl.

Huge solar and wind integration in grids

 Breakthrough variant of half-green fuels. Author: David Judbarovski, systems engineering, principle inventor, retired. See my professional CV  shortly in Linkedin.com. judbarovski.blogspot.com, judbarovski@gmail.com . Abstract.  My variant is based on extremelly cheap solar and/or wind energy as a result of many   years of my research and development. The said breakthrough cheap fuels can be produced domestically and cheaply, and it allows to integrate huge amount of  renewable energy in national grids, being now a sore and unsolvable problem.     (1) C + H2O = H2 +  CO + 176 KJ. (2) 2 C + 2 H2O = 2 H2 + 2 CO + 352 KJ. (3) CO + 2 H2 = CH2 + H2O - 226 KJ. And summarised in CH2 = 2 C + H2O - CO (sold) +  352 KJ (heat) - 226 KJ (electricity sold) = 2 * 12 * 120 + 352 * 4 / 3.6 - 28 * 50 - 226 * 0.3 efficiency heat in electricity * 0.033 local tariffs / 3.6 = 3280 - 1400 - 600 = USD 1280. So 1280/ 14/ 7 =   USD 12.8 / bbl of ...

H2 cost minimisation

 H2 cost minimisation. Author:  David Judbarovski, systems engineering, principle inventor, retited. See my professional CV shortly in Linkedin.com.  judbarovski.blogspot.com,  Judbarovski@gmail.com  Abstract.  C + H2O = CO + H2 - 176 KJ,  176 * 4 / 3.6 = USD 200.   Q (H2) + 200 = (Q(C) * 12 - Q(CO) *28) / 2.  If C = USD 120/ ton, СO = USD 50 /ton,  H2 = practically free. ,

Edited, breakthrough variant of half--gren fuels

 Breakthrough variant of half-green fuels. Author: David Judbarovski, systems engineering, principle inventor, retired. See my professional CV shortly in Linkedin.com. judbarovski.blogspot.com, judbarovski@gmail.com . Abstract.  My variant is based on extremelly cheap solar and/or wind energy as a result of many   years of my research and development. The said breakthrough cheap fuels can be produced domestically and cheaply, and it allows to integrate huge amount of  renewable energy in national grids, being now a sore and unsolvable problem.  (1) C + H2O = CO + H2 - 176 KJ , (Fischer-Tropsch process) - 176 * 4 / 3.6 = USD 200.0. 12 * USD 120 / ton = USD 1440, so  CO + H2 = 1440 + 200 = USD 1640, so CO = 1640 - 2 * 100  = 1440, so CO = 1440 / 28 = USD 50.0 /ton CO here,  being valuable by-product can be sold. (2)   CO + 2H2 = CH2 + H2O + 226 KJ. Here CH2 production consumes C = 12 * 12O and 179 KJ  = USD 1640 minus surplus CO ...

Practically free fuels - half-green variant

Practically free oil and gas - half-green variants. Author: David Judbarovski, systems engineering, principle inventor, retired, my CV see in Linkedin.com. Abstract. They allow to reach the oil (CH2) produced domestically and practically free, 0.5 mol CO2 extacted from the air, consuming 2.5 mol C per a mol CH2 and 2.0 mol CO being valuable by-product. It is allowed by extremely cheap solar and/or wind energy, earlier developed by me during many years. Such oil allows to integrate huge amount of solar and wind electricity to national grids, being now sore and unsolvable problem. C + H2O = CO + H2 ( Fischer-Tropsch process ) - 176 KJ. Here CO being valuable product, can be sold by USD 50 / ton or much more. H2 = ((12 * USD 120 / ton - 28 * 50) + 176 * 4 /3.6 ) / 2 = USD 100/ ton H2. Plus net profit from surplus CO being much more than 28 * 50 = USD 1400 if 2H2. C + CO2 (from the air) = 2 CO, (Boudouard reversible reaction, can be near 100 % energy effective at mild condi...
