Hazard free stored and very effective fuel David Judbarovski, systems engineering, principle inventor judbarovski@gmail.com, Linkedin Abstract (1) C2H5OH + 3 H2O = 2 CO2 + 6 H2 - 350 kJ, then cooled and pressed to separate gaseous hydrogen from solid carbon dioxide thrown out (2) 6 H2 + air by Fuel cell = 6 H2O + 1700 kJ * 0.75 (efficiency) = 1290 kJ, and totally 5.1 kWh per each liter of the fuel for electric vehicle powering each wheel vs. 3.4 kWh/liter if by gasoline for ICE. The C2H5OH can be recycled cheaply from the water and carbon dioxide extracted from the air chemically and very energy effective and consuming minimal footprint area and by renewable sources of energy, can be cheaper 1.0 cent US per kWh electricity and by different ways. For comparison, 3.75 kWh/ kg gasoline, 30% energy efficiency Battery of conventional electric vehicle is in order of magnitude both heavier and more expensive. System’s efficiency with recycling is 5.25 / 10.3 = 50% Indeed, LiH-fuel recycling by renewable electricity: LiOH = (electrolysis) = Li + 0.5 H20 + 0.25 O2 = 342 kJ 2 Li + H2 = FC = 2 LiH + 182 kJ H2O = PEM FC or magnetron = H2 + 0.5 O2 – 286 kJ Totally 342 + 286 – 18 2 = 446 kJ /0.75 = 595 kJ = 10.3 kWh Q.E.D.
