Abstract

NG extracted at production site, it is reformed by water steam in CO2 and H2, cheaply cleanable, and then transformed, using additional portion of CO2 in clean petrol being more cheap than market prices of crude oil and much cheaper than refined one, The total system of production and usage produces less greenhouses and twice more energy effective, being reformed back in CO2 frozen to be divided, and H2 used for fuel cells.

(1) CH4 (NG-natural gas) + 2 H2O (water steam) = CO2 + 4 H2 + gaseous pollutants

(a) it is endothermic reaction consuming 254 kJ / mole can be produced by additional  254 kJ / 64/ 16 = 0.25 mole CH4, but can be substituted by clean and cheap renewable energy

(b) CO2 and 4 H2 are cleaned from the pollutants cheaply by some water aerated and mineralized

(2) 4/3 CO2 + 4 H2 = 4/3 (CH2) (petrol) + 8/3 H2O recycled = it is exothermic reaction

Moreover, it extracts CO2 from the air, and not pollutes it.

Moreover, being a liquid fuel, it much more suitable and cheaper in transportation and usage.

The NG at its production sites is cheap (averaged cost is about USD 50.0/1000 m3 = USD 70 /ton, and 1.0 ton of NG can create 1.33/1.25 = 1.065 ~= 1.0 ton of pure petrol ready as a transport fuel, so such petrol would be about USD 70.0/ton = USD 10.0/bbl as OPEX plus about USD 25.0/bbl CAPEX, and totally USD 35/bbl = USD 1.0/gallon, so some times cheaper than gasoline at refueling stations.

Moreover, such petrol is needed in 1.5-2.0 less quantity per the same mileage vs. ICE or hybrid engine (see “Vehicles fueling by reforming hydrocarbons” posted on 20.12.2020 in https://judbarovski.blogspot.com/2020/12 )          -
