Abstract
Invented heterodyne antenna thermo-electric generator is much cheaper and smaller and lighter and without any moving parts Its energy efficiency is near 100%. . Carnot limit is not relevant here.
Power generation and hybrid electric vehicles would consume some times less fuels, so generating some times less exhausts, and I have developed a technology for very mass and cheap CO2 and H2 from the air and water for the fuels recycling.
Disclosure for experts
(for lighter understanding see a popular but clear introduction below)
Antenna is jointed with radiators, heated by heat carrier or by any combustible or by solar beams concentrator. The said radiator emits a band of EM waves of about 100 THz interfered each with the others forming envelope band, can be filtered by the wideband antenna of much less frequencies into electricity with high energy efficiency that can reach near 100% especially after recuperation of exhaust heat.
If using Plank’s Law on-line calculator for blackbody, the Radiant emittance is W = 50.8 kW/m2, and if Band Radiance chosen to be 10 THz around maximum, at 700 Celsius the said efficiency is 92%. and 109 kW/m2, 76% at 900 C. CAPEX is an order of magnitude cheaper than secondary battery
Popular introduction for lighter understanding
The novel understanding can be proved by a simplest experiment. If blue band and yellow band are falling mixed on white sheet, it creates a jointed band comprised two separate bands being green one and infrared band approximately from 1.5 um to 2.5 um.
Ideally, a heterodyne can serve for transforming a high frequency A by a mixing it with a frequency B = A – E, and E << A, into envelope of much lower frequency E carried by the said high frequency A. Then we can high energy effective extract and use the said low frequency E by filtering the said mix, e.g. by resonator of the frequency E or by a rectifier of frequency lower than A, but equal or bigger then E..
Really It is known from school, that
Sin (A*t + C) + Sin (B*t) = 2 * (Sin (t * (A + B) /2 + C/2) * Cos (t * (A – B) /2 + C/2)
If A is a band of frequencies growing continuously from the band’s ends to inside maximal value, it can be considered as a sum of separate frequencies recurrently interfered each with the others, so if being fallen on the resonator equipped by the said rectifier, the result would be direct current.
Heat can be considered as such wide band electromagnetic radiance, analogously to solar radiation, and antenna receiver can be made with an array of resonators of a width of frequency band have to be enough to satisfy frequency of feasible rectifiers and much lower than maximal frequency of the heat radiance.
