Publicity resume
Technology offered, and well scalable, it comprises two steps, are cycled supposedly 100 cycles for each material unit, here being KNO3 : (1) electrochemistry and (2) thermal decomposition for restoring of first step, the both are very energy effective inherently.
Therefore, they transform inherently cheaper thermal energy in electricity practically free of further cost burdens, and with hundredfold less material consume.
All those create cheap & clean & sustainable electricity.
For example,
To reject 100 milliards cube meters of natural gas imported annually by Germany and can create ~ 65 % annual electricity consume (~400 milliards kWh), our technology would be much cheaper 2.0 cents/kWh (OPEX + CAPEX = 5 years payback), using 5300 km2 (1.5 % of German territory for solar power plants, if 7.0 m2 land area per 1.0 m2 solar flux and a seasonal of 200 days in a year for the said KNO3 thermal decomposition.
Each cube km of oceans contains 0.4 million ton of potassium ions, can be extracted industrially. The more material annual production the less its cost, and its cost slow depends on a kind of material either rare it or common (1980).
DISCLOSURE FOR EXPERTS
(1) KNO3 = (thermolysis) = KNO2 (recycled) + ½ O2 + 124 kJ * 100 cycles / 102 gram/mol = 120 kJ/gram KNO3
(2) KNO2 (water solution) + ½ O2 / air = (flow Fuel cell) = KNO3 (sediment) + 124 kJ or 84 kJ electricity / gram KNO3, if 70% efficiency, so 4.0 times more powerful, than Natural Gas in TPP. Really, ~ 60 kJ/gram * 35 % efficiency = 21 kJ/g + a lot of CO2 exhaust
KNO2 solubility is tenfold bigger than for KNO3, and
KNO2 + H2O = K (+) + (OH) (-) + HNO2, exothermal oxidized in HN03 and then gives KNO3 sediment, extracted periodically for thermolysis in KNO2
Heat of the said thermolysis is created by solar concentrators comprise pairs of small mirrors about 1m2 each and made of thin foils and sheets , so cheap and strong, about USD 20.0 kW with high temperature heat of 0.35 cent/kWh for moderate climate as in Germany. Planar mirror redirects solar flux on dish mirror, so focal spot is motionless.
Really, my alternative technology for analogous solar concentrators with rectenna thermal heterodyne in focal spot for high effective direct transforming such heat in electricity about 0.6 cent/kWh, can be more preferable
