AWG(atmospheric water generation). Update 10/10/2026
AWG (atmospheric water generator) [1]. Updated 10/10/2026. David Judbarovski, systems engineering, judbarovski.blogspot.com, judbarovski@gmail.com, 1939dmj@gmail.com Abstract. A pair of AWG-s is different here by horizontal axis turbulators with some vertical blades along the desiccant surface. While one AWG is absorbing the air humidity and the water drops, second one is recycled, and then vice versa. The water production would be as cheap as 5 cent/m3, and 1000 kWh heat (80C-200C)/ m2 footprint would be annuaL free by-product. For example, If absolute humidity being 10 gram/m3 air, 15 m/s, and input 0.2 m2, so 30 g/sec. water can be produced, or 100 kg/hour, extracted from the air by 100 kg /h of CaCl2 desiccant being $250/ton. If 2500 times being such cycles lifetime, the water annual product would be 880 m3 by 5.0 cents/m3 and about 1000 kWh heat (80-200C) as free by-product.. References.
