Background
Thermal EM waves mixed and further filtered, it transforms high frequency band in much lower frequencies, allows to produce electric power by antenna with rectifiers named rectenna, can serve as a generator of heat-into-electricity with energy efficiency can reach near 100%
Equipment for it comprise pairs of radiators in a form of angle being heated with small temperature differential T1 – T2, while open side of the angle emits heat EM waves on rectenna.
Ideally, such kind of generator’s energy efficiency is n = (T2 /T1) ^ 4, while frequency band of rectenna is as small as (T1 – T2)/ 20 (THz), so total energy losses is small too.
Really, if T1 = I200 K, and T2 = 1150 K, n ~= 85 %, at rectenna’s band being 2.5 THz being now quite feasible possibility.
The said radiator can be heated by any heat source, as fuels as waste heat etc.
In a case of concentrated solar energy, the said angle is little turn to create such small temperature diffenertial, focal spot can be made to be motionless and IR reflecting glass at a front side can diminish heat loses, and increase energy efficiency up to near 40%. Such solar plant can produce electricity cheaper than 1.0 cent/kWh, even if operates at moderate climate, at seasons.
