Abstract.
Technological chain offered here allows integration of huge solar thermal energy in national grid, by green fuel, synthetized distribute and domestically from atmospheric CO2 and ammonia, the both can be breakthrough cheap and based on original inventions well scalable. allows hazard free and reliable energy supply.
(1) 2 NH3 + CO2 extracted from the air = CH2 hydrocarbons + 2 H2O + N2 + 179 KJ into electricity for sale.,
(2) 0.5 C + H2O = 0.5 CO2 exhaust + H2 - 90 KJ. Such H2 is USD 400 / t H2, so much cheaper than reformed traditionally from CH2 or CH4 by the water vapor in ammonia industry.
(3) The air + NH3 = 1.5 H2O + 3.5 N2 instead of cryogenic monster for N2 production.
(4) 0.5 N2 + 1.5 H2 = NH3 + 46 KJ into electricity for sale.
Solar thermal generators with motionless focal spot comprise two mirrors each, planar one to redirect solar flux on motionless parabolic concentrator. they are small of about 1 m2, so are thin and cheap of about 0.4 US cents per kWh. [1].
CO2 of about USD 5 / t CO2 can be extracted from the air by compact and very productive system. [2]
Cost of N2 is negligible vs. H2 cost being USD 400 / t H2, followed (3),
0.75 * (O2 + 4 N2) + NH3 = 1.5 H20 + 3.5 N2 - 383 KJ into electricity for sale,
0.5 N2 + 1.5 H2 = NH3 + 46 KJ into electricity for sale,
and NH3 = (3 * 400 - 46,000 * 0.25 (efficiency) * 0.03 (tariff) / 3.6 ) /17 = (1200 - 96) / 17 = USD 65 / ton NH3 incredible cheap.!!!
2 NH3 + CO2 = CH2 + 2 H2O + N2 + 137 K,J into electricity for sale
CH2 = (65 * 17 + 5 *44 - 137000 * 0.25 * 0.03 / 3.6) / 14 = USD 153 /t CH2 = USD 22/ bbl.
